    Годовая доза {annual dose}. Сумма дозы, полученной от внешнего облучения в течение года, и ожидаемой дозы от поступления радионуклидов в этом году. Индивидуальная доза, если не оговаривается иное. В общем смысле – это не доза, действительно полученная в течение данного года, которая включает дозы от радионуклидов, остававшихся в теле человека от поступлений в течение предыдущих лет, и не включает дозы, получаемые в течение будущих лет от поступления радионуклидов в рассматриваемом году. Доза в течение жизни {lifetime dose}. Суммарная доза, полученная отдельным лицом в течение его жизни. На практике часто аппроксимируется суммой полученных годовых доз. Поскольку годовые дозы включают ожидаемые дозы, части некоторых годовых доз не могут быть фактически получены в течение жизни отдельного лица, и, следовательно, это может приводить к завышенной оценке истинной дозы в течение жизни. В перспективных оценках дозы в течение жизни продолжительность жизни обычно принимается равной 70 годам. Индивидуальная доза {individual dose}. Доза, полученная отдельным лицом. Противоположный по значению термин: коллективная доза. Коллективная доза {collective dose}. Общая доза излучения, полученная населением. Это – сумма всех индивидуальных доз, полученных лицами из населения. Если дозы формируются в течение более одного года, то годовые индивидуальные дозы должны также интегрироваться по времени. Если не оговаривается иное, считается, что доза формируется в течение бесконечного времени; если при интегрировании применяется конечный временной предел, то считается, что формирование коллективной дозы прекратилось в указанное время. Если не оговаривается иное, соответствующей дозой обычно является эффективная доза (см. коллективная эффективная доза, где дано точное определение). Единица: человеко-зиверт (чел·Зв). Строго говоря, это – просто зиверт, однако в данном случае применяется 'человеко-зиверт' для того, чтобы коллективную дозу можно было отличить от индивидуальной дозы, которую измеряет дозиметр (точно так же, как, например, ‘человеко-часы’ применяются для измерения общего объема усилий, затраченных на выполнение данной работы, в отличие от истекшего времени, которое фиксируют часы). Противоположный по значению термин: индивидуальная доза. ожидаемая доза {committed dose}. Доза в течение жизни, ожидаемая от данного поступления. Этот термин частично заменяет термин ожидаемая парциальная доза. [ожидаемая парциальная доза {dose commitment}].
